The link to the club website should be www.mchenrybicycleclub.org. Are any inmates from the forums going to be there? I'm planning on the full century, my first this year.

I was thinking about doing this ride, also a full century, first for the year as well. Not sure if there's a bikeforums group or not, but I was planning to start riding as soon as the route opens.

I'm planning on the full century as well. I'm on a BBQ CAAD8 with redwall tires and red handlebar tape. If our riding speeds work together, I'm in. Weather looks decent too, at least the forecast does - reality maybe a bit different.

Well, between having to wait nearly an hour to get out on the road, waiting in long restroom lines, and fighting the unrelenting headwind, a full century wasn't in the cards this time around. Did a metric and called it a day. Maybe next time. Hope you had a good ride.

There were some delays at registration - I think the folks that did NOT preregister had a shorter wait.
I did the full century, the headwind was nasty. I was really looking forward to heading south. Finally wrapped it up but it was a long day in the saddle.

Yeah, that headwind was a force to be reckoned with. Even heading south wasn't as easy as I had hoped it might be. Yow!

Did the 52 route, wanted to do at least the metric century but my boyfriend was having issues with his behind. We did the Blackhawk Country Roads last weekend with no issues, and while this was an easier route without the hills, he needs some new shorts. Was kinda bummed, but whataya do.. Headwind was nasty tho.
