I've never done an organized group ride, but I hope to remedy that before the end of the summer. :)

I used to ride the Westerville trails every morning before I moved to Gahanna. Good times.

If you're looking for a change, check out the Johnstown trail sometime - it's a nice path that covers about 15 miles from Johnstown to Newark.

Thanks for the tip about the Johnstown trail. I'll definately check it out.

Well...you found them. Check out the BFNIC ride schedule. CyLowe97, Kimbercop and I are in Elgin. Cyclepsycho is as well. Actually more like Gilberts, Elgin, and Dundee, but it's all Elgin really.

Keep you eyes open for the Psimet invitational. It's a ride that offers many different route options, but is designed to be ridden with a group.

Elisdad 08-01-07 09:33 PM

I'm in Naperville, IL. I've been riding for about three years, mostly MTB, but I bought a cyclocross bike this year in order to try and compete in the Chicago CX Cup races this Fall. I've put slicks on the bike for a few rides, but mostly stick to dirt or crushed gravel.

I'd be up for riding with you guys anytime. Being on two wheels is a lot more fun than not being on two wheels.

No kidding. Time to throw my hat in the ring. I'm posting this from ~1000 feet from dominican university. For those who aren't "that" local. I'm posting from River Forest. I'm just getting back into riding. Somewhat against doctors wishes. :-)

I've got both a road bike and a mountain bike. I'm very happy to abuse either. Or both. Or me. :-)
