BFNIC - Resume...

I'm re-doing my resume (don't ask). I got to the section for personal activities and I put this down:

President of Bike Forums Northern Illinois Chapter

- Anyone think that's not OK??

I knew someone would step up to the plate and declare presidency along with picking up the tab on the full BFNIC kits.
Small small please

I think I missed that thread. Or has the president slipped in his duties of designing a wicked kit?

I just assumed as acting pres he would do that for us. Is this an incorrect assumption?

El Jefe' or El Whoppo would be my suggestion. Can't wait to see the kit design. Looking forward to the 1st..

ehh...I'm just looking for fillers (was recently told that once you've been working in your professional career that a 1 page resume just doesn't cut it anymore), and wondered if it was ethically OK to put on a ficticious position for a group that exists electronically.....but I guess the kit will prove that it's real...eventually.

Hey, the organizational and motivational skills inherent in the position have been proven by you on several consistent occassions.

You have encouraged others go give more than they thought they had to achieve and exceed their cycling goals.

You are organizing and executing the BFNIC ride. No small feat.

Also, regarding your considerate attitude toward newbies just starting out and your sterling record of safety, I think Margaret Yang should be one of your references.

It works for me, you should just hope the receiver of the resume isn't a forum member!

Actually the receiver is a family relative....in-law. I'm not too worried about what's on there, but because it is family I feel this obligation to be even more ethical than ever...

Does this have anything to do with omerta? Don't worry, we won't tell anyone if it does....

Cylowe, you need to get some of those inside jokes to the outside so we can share in your taunting of Psimet.

The Family? Omerta? Obviously they forgot to have you read your Mario Puzo during Kimbercop College. I was just guessing that Psimet is sending his resume to the mob.

We'll let you know if we see Margaret on the road. Let's just say it's pretty tough to draft a Lexus SUV when it's only going 8 mph.

I would have a one page summary of my ~40 years of experience. Then have like appendixes if you want detail like publications (papers) programs worked on it some detail. That way you have something thicker if some one wants the detail, but still have a one page resume.

I would skip the pres of...
