Forte`Tires who else has had problems?
Second ride on the Performance Forte` CityFast St 26x1.25s and the casing seperated from the wire bead.Tires are rated to 90psi I was running 70 and the accompanying noise rivaled a M-80
Brand new tires and the overally opinion was either faulty manufacturing or dry rot.
Club stopped at a Timmys and while there were joined by cyclists from another area club.
Come to find out two of the riders in that club had catastrophic failures on the same kind on 700 series Forte` tires.
Was wondering how many other folks have had problems.

I have only run Forte tires on my trainer. Got a couple for $5 a couple of years ago. They are so cheap and hard that they show virtually no wear and are great for this kind of application.
I also have some Forte slicks on one of our mtb. No problems to date. Understand that Performance sources the cheapest manufacturers for most of their house branded Forte stuff. It is all import and likely you've hit a bad batch.
Return them and they'll probably take care of you.
