Not really a lot of people, maybe 5. Hopefully next week will be bigger. It was only $5 though.

+1, very nice day. It didn't look too bad out and the only thing that stopped me from taking the Giant was my broken shoe, so I put the MTB pedals on my tracky and rode 40 miles.

I think I saw Scott..

high of 45! what?! So I grab the Kona, and im off. 1/2 way down my street my tire goes flat. There is a giant salt crystle that put a hole in the tire itself. Throw on the Knobbies and I'm off. I bonked/died/something on the way back, it was really slow. Saw CrimsonKarter and his tarck bike a couple of times. I ended up with 44 miles.

That wind heading back west up Hilliard from Metro Parks was STRONG and unexpected.

I'll wait for the snow to almost completely melt and / or temp reaches 35 and above to ride again.

35 here for Sunday!!!!!! I wonder how messy the roads will be......not that I really care. I wonder (seriously) if I can get fenders on the S-Works. It is real tight between the seat tube and back tire but I think I need to try to anyway.

I'm out. I'm going to try and take 2 weeks completely off. I think I may have tendonitis. I haven't gotten a professional opinion, but that's what everyone seems to think.

well i did it today, I went out and did damn well. I got 22 miles in one hour, nice tail wind on the way home, plus I was freezing and wanted to be home and get the hottest shower ever. Mitch, I've had tendonitis before and it's a horrible horrible thing, I used to be a power lifter and got it in my elbow real bad, every movement I made was the worst. It took about a month to get over and sucked!

I have been dealing with what I think is a pulled hamstring. I am going to try and take a few days off as well. I was looking at possibly doing the Frosty Toes race for fun. The Hammy may throw a stick in that plan.

You could probably find out what it is just by going to a masseuse (sp?).
If you do have to sit out Frosty Toes, you'll probably be among the lucky ones. With the turnout last year, combined with the fact that everyone who wasn't aware of his crappy races last year is now aware this year, both through everyone who raced them and the fact that it was big news that the USAC wouldn't accept his races as their own.
The only place I know of that has a lot of his organizations' races is Indiana, and I doubt they'll drive out to bumf*ck-Ohio for them.

lol, i would love to take credit for the nice mph, but great tail wind and I was literally freezing, I needed to get home asap. I was wearing two pairs of socks, one wool. PI cyclone booties, a pair of nashbar tights w/ nashbar bibs over. It was more my face and hands that were pounding with pain.

That reminds me of this big mistake I made about a month or so ago.
I rode in sub-freezing temps and my hands and feet were BURNIGN with pain. I hopped into a hot shower immediately after getting home. I didn't even bring my bike into the basement.
As I'm in the shower practically crying my hands, feet and ankles are turning purple.
Long story short, my ankles, feet and hands were swollen all night long.
