Bill hope things improve! Take it easy, you don't want to drain yourself and make it a winter long battle. Good luck and take a couple more Ibuprofine (sic) for good measure. Dan
BTW, we gotta set up a group to go down and do the 6 gap next year. I found the place to stay, they have catered to the pro tour teams during the tour of georgia.

I could be interested in the 6 Gap ride in next year. Keep us in mind.

I've been off the road bike for 3 weeks now. I finally got back on today, because we all know how much I love cold and rainy days. I made it 30 miles, had a blast in the rain, but got a flat. I changed it, started fillingup, and there was a hole in the spare. I walked a mile to the closest building in the park, called for a ride, and had to sit outside for an hour until my dad showed.
::Oh, I bought a new bike yesterday. I think you'll be able to tell by my signature what it is

Awww piss, I though it was called off when the weather was bad. If I would have known that, I would have been there.
An hour on the trainer for me today. Sucked.

I got my Guerciotti in the mail today. Wow, what a beauty. Handmade by Paolo Guerciotti in Italy.
Here I thought I was going to be slowed down by the fame's arrival, but now I'm being slowed down by my parts arrival!

I missed posting June 1, my bad. I also drove to Virginia which added 1,500 miles to the car, but I did some miles on the bike while I was there. I also haven't driven the car for the entire month of July (so far), so I am going to date this entry back to the first. Still losing ground, but year is only half over, I am taking vacation at the end of this month so hopefully i'll get a lot of miles in.

Had a great July, a little over 700 miles. August was slack but I made it up in September, the weather during the first three weeks was like San Diego - sunny and low 70s. Not too shabby for Chicago. My goal is looking slim, we loose DLST at the end of October and I won't commute at night. I won't have 90 miles a week from that in November and December. Looks like I would have been OK if I didn't drive to Virginia.

20 VERY rainy, chilly, & windy miles into work (had to postpone the work-sponsored Ride-to-Work I'm hosting to Monday, but decided to HTFU and get out there).
Not sure what the evening will hold.

10/2 broke out the hybrids, tucked our jeans into our socks and did 20 miles to Oberlin for dessert after dinner. Fall is here boys and girls, don't mind the lack of warmth as much as the lack of light.
Man I miss those mountains, gotta find a way to move to georgia or n.c.

Well.... the rain went away, the sun came out, then the wind became a steady pain in my ass the whole way home. Oof. Good stuff. Kicked my ass.

10/3 46 miles out to watch our son in his CC meet, breezy and cool. Here is the unusual part, the wind shifted during the meet and we ended up with a tail wind both ways, yaahoo!!!!!!
