We raised $610! Not bad, considering it was Easter weekend with a sudden call for afternoon rain & what ended up being 50 mph gusts of wind, eh??? And DEFINITELY! I hope to do one again, maybe do like twice a year? We'll see. Pick a more "open" weekend and invite more local clubs, add a 100 mile option. That'd be good.

TSURU, Nice! Sorry to have missed it. Me and the wife got volunteered to help at a local charity walk for children, sponsored by our church. Will try again next time, hopefully it will work out. 100 mile option would be nice.

30 miles late this afternoon after our Easter lunch. Beauty of a day but still a might "breezy"

Since it was my first time doing this, I picked Easter weekend to make sure it couldn't get out of hand. I learned alot, now for Part II: The Wrath Of The Riders (really, the wind was nuts), it'll be even better!

Did 30 today. Nice recovery ride on the bike path, it was nice to not have to deal with headwinds today.

4/5 ..... Very nice 25 miler. I finally feel my fitness returning
4/6 ..... 45+ miles with Lorain Wheelman featuring Leinad and his wife. Very Very windy with sustained south west winds of 25. At one point I was pulling at 14mph while leaned over at a 45degree angle with my heart rate on the verge of meltdown. I did see 181BPM tonight and I had been thinking my max was 178.....

52 miles today. Winds from the south made it a challenge coming home but overall it was a nice ride.

Yesterday's race was warp speed, I lasted until the last-lap antics, then chased as hard as I could so I could finish, but I wasn't marked down on the results. Normalized power for the 2:32 was 323w. Like I said. Insane. I didn't know I could go that high.
Today was 5 hours at 200w with Justin [British], and Mich [pronounced the same as my name] and Ayal [both Israeli's].

25 tough wind blown miles today. At one time I was going 12.7 mph and my HR was in zone 4.5. At least the cooler temps got rid of some of the pollen that was weezing me. And, I was in Richmond, VA the last two days and it was 95F...... too hot!

Wind's getting old...... BUT, did a super light & easy recovery-style 20 miles at lunch. Stopped mid-way at a LBS to pick up a couple goos for tomorrows century.
Anyone else near Columbus doing Woodstock tomorrow?? I'm thinking of doing the century, like 90% sure I will. But, honestly, the winds this week are starting to break me down. I think the forecast is in the 60s for highs and calmer winds. We'll see........ a little rolling pin tonight, some sleep, and we'll see.
If you do come, I'll be with teamroll:, black jersey's with polka dots!

4/10 120 miles today Elyria Ohio Around Wooster Ohio and back with a side trip tp Oberlin for a DONUT reward! Our 5th century this year! This beats Tina longest by 10 miles and our average speed was 18.1 not bad for that kinda distance. Wind was a bother but manageable.

4/11 Lorain Wheelmen AFROST ride, 60 miles around Lorain County with a stop in Wellington for some pancakes. !0 of us rode together at a nice easy pace that was perfect recovery after yesterdays 120. The wind even cooperated by being subdued. Nice all around ride.
