Carried my bike in to work on the rack and rode it home leaving the car behind (I'll be running in to work in the morning). Took a detour home making the ride about 19 miles, mostly uphill, and I felt great. A little cool for late April, but I can't do anything about that. Hope I feel this good when I wake up in the morning and try running the 8 1/2 miles to work.

32.93 Cold miles in 1:45. Lots of wind but lots of sun as well. Rode East into the Metro parks and stopped by Spin cycle. My bike fell over this morning and tore the bar tape so I had to get some replacement tape.

About 1:30 hours Tuesday night training races. Sore legs are the result. And frozen toes. 43 degree weather without shoe covers is no good.

Did the Tuesday Night Penny Road Pub ride with Psimet, ColorChange, neitsmas, and cyclpsycho. It was kind of chilly, but trying to keep up with cyclpsycho as he floats past everyone on the hills with the greatest of ease will ward off a chill quickly.

Great ride through Barrington Hills and good company at the pub after.

I am really getting sick of this cold wind!!
20 miles today. I rode out to the lake and east a bit. More a recovery ride with a few sprint intervals thrown in just to make it pointless.
20 miles
1HR 8minutes
Max power 1214
avg power 166

4/30 - 21 miles. We need more sunny days - I am way behind my monthly goal of 400 miles / per month.

Got in 31 miles tonight, pretty nice ride.

The view starting out

These things did not like the turkey being inside their pen, a bunch of em ganged together and chased the lone tukey away.

Abandoned ski resort

Nice view overlooking lake Michigan

4/28 - nothing
4/29 - nothing
4/30 - ran 6.5 miles

I have a 1/2 marathon this weekend. I really am not into running much other than it keeps me strong. Not sure if I'm excited about this 1/2, but I will do it nevertheless...

Oh, those are alpacas. I'd have been nervous if you had stopped at a field to check out the sheep.

Where were you specifically? Is this out along Old Mission Peninsula?

5/1: 21 miles - morning training ride, waiting for warmer weather and earlier dawn to lengthen. Slow legs after Brasstown Bald area riding and a few days off.

Whitesox - running the Indy 500 Mini-Marathon this weekend?

5/1 = YES = 26 miles

a lovely pre work ride on a lovely spring morning. clear, sunny, light winds, and good times. the legs needed to spin in order to shake loose the BFNIC Spring Classic hangover they had. later.

Nice thread in the 'road' section of BF on HTFU. That's a new one for me.

Rode 1 hour. Not much, I know, but it was fun.

Almost...slipped out at 1:00. Went out to Busse Woods. Pulled out the bike. G#d*&#* flat rear tire. Right around the valve stem. That's the second one of those in three weeks. I rode the Psimet Suds ride in New Glarus with no problem. Haven't ridden since. Any thoughts?
