6/20 = Yes
Commute in. Bunny racer was back. Power has returned to the legs for a new PR again. Only by 1 minutes, but that counts.
EDIT: 47 mile commute.

6/19 (yesterday ) - Yes.
29 miles with a Tuesday night group (thanks cyclpsycho!). The ride was a few mph more than my usual pace, so I was working hard to hang on to the faster riders. Yo-yo'd off the back a few times and at one point later in the ride asked someone to look at my rear wheel to see if it was going soft. Nope, it was just me feeling sluggish. I popped off the back up a hill, but the group was waiting at the next stop sign for a pit-stop.
All in all, a fun ride and the legs felt pretty fresh three days after the HHH.

^^^^ you guys seem to be hitting your stride! nice work. me, no rides since the HHH.
none in my near future as i will be living la vida loco for the next week. i have no idea how i can or will handle 10 days off the bike. i get teary-eyed just thinking about the time off.
funny how the wifes idea and my idea of a vacation differ. she wants the beach, the sun, and all the fun that comes with all inclusiveness. me, i like the sun, i like fun, as long as you through in some suffering and my bike!!
later.

6/19 - yep
My usual Tuesday afterwork ride...37mi loop downtown Chicago to Indiana. Didn't really feel like pushing myself, but I did manage 18.5mph avg. Not bad considering the winds, but not great either. I plan on riding home after work on Friday. 62mi by car, not sure how many by bike, but I guess I'll find out.

Not that it's very fast (27:10), but I set my personal best in our little informal 10 mile TT ride last night (no TT gear or aero bars). If I make the 26's, I'll be very happy with my progress over last year.

The whole family had a nice short after-dinner ride. My wife hadn't been on a bike in a couple of years.

06/22 = Yes. Commute in. Up to 125 miles in riding and about 8 miles ran this week. Feeling good. I am not looking forward to the week off that "vacation" will bring.

Did the Le Tour De Shore ride this weekend. Starts at Millenium Park in Chicago and then to the Indiana Dunes. 62 Miles. Stay at motel and have a barbeque then the next day to the Michigan Dunes (Warren). 31 Miles to there. Then there is a beach barbeque at the Warren Dunes. Busses come and ship you home as well as your bikes. The Bus was great they played a movie and everything. Great ride. I will do it again next year.

50/50 Road/eBike Commuter
I did my partial commute today, drove to the out parking lot at work (about 5 miles) and then biked the rest of the way in (about 2 miles). This is because I am working midnight shifts and the fiance is worried for my safety in the night, which is understandable (and appreciated). I still wish I can do the full commute even if half of it is at night. Maybe someday, I'm still new at this.

6-23--Was suppose to in the morning but rained out
6-24--Wife is at work which means parenting duty for me, 8 month old. It is amazing how drained after a 12-14hr shift of watching the kid. Wife is a nurse, thats why the long day. This evening I will feel like I rode...does that count.

6/23 - Completely worn out from my 32 mile ride friday, it was the farthest i'd ever done and i was still worn out saturday, so i collapsed into bed as soon as i got off work. no ride.
6/24 - Decided to run the risk of getting drenched but luckily the storms spared me! It was pouring this morning but luckily around 2pm I managed to get a 33.6 mile ride in. Crazy steep hills, I thought a few times I wasn't going to make it. Overall a good ride though, I can feel myself making progress (this will be my 4th week riding)

6/22 - 54 miles Was my first time riding home from work. One wrong turn added 10 miles to my ride I really should get a compass. Something just didn't feel right so I stopped at a gas station and asked directions. I didn't make it all the way, I stopped to get the car from my wife's work to pick up the kids. That wrong turn ate up too much time. Oh well, lesson learned. Know the route ahead of time if you're crunched for time.
6/23 - 123 miles After a disappointing ride the previous night, I decided to get up early and try again. I've always wanted to ride to Chicago and back so I headed out at 7am, rode to the south loop, ate lunch at Greektown, and came back. It was a slighty cool day, and I kept the warmers on the entire ride. I got attacked by cicadas (ok, only one hit me). I think lunch at Greektown did me in. I was stopped for almost an hour, and ate way too much. The whole ride took 9 hours. I think I'm in trouble for RAIN.

6/24 - I rode some waves down here on the gulf of Mexico. Ran a couple of miles and ate a ton of shrimp and drank a lot of beer. Now THAT'S training.
