47 miles from Wicker Park to Highland Park (and back). Rode with the XXX Racing Saturday ride. Great time.

Today was my inagural ride on my new colnago C 50. It was west of St. Charles (IL) and it was 70 miles. We did it in just less than 4 hrs, and what a wonderful ride! The hills on Tower Hill Rd are friggin huge for this area, it was a "good friggin morning to ya" thats for sure. It was my first time on Beith Rd, and it led to everywhere. We were in Hinckley, Cortland, Sycamore and a few other little towns along the way. 75 degree day, and a head wind home....didn't like that much. Anyway, the two Tri-letes I was riding with made great company, and took great pulls too!

FANTASTIC ride today!!! Went west out of Columbus, OH, slowly made our way north, eventually veered to the east, then finally back south with my two good friends. Incredible weather too! Headed out early, around 7am to beat the sun and any heat.

All in all.... 72 miles, staying between 20-24mph (except for a few cool downs, climbs, and (of course) descents)!!

My longest and fastest ride yet. Never been in so much pain, but I loved it!!!

I raced the Buckeye Crit in Columbus in both the 4/5 and 3/4 races.
Unfortunately, we timed the capture of a two man break wrong in the 4/5's and I started my sprint about a foot late and lost 3rd by an inch.
In the 3/4 race, the pace was pushed hard, I got caught behind another rider who's wheel skipped in the last turn going into the last lap, a small gap opened up on the main straight, and the wind was strong on the second stretch and exploited the gap. I worked my ass off to get back into the pack, but I finished about 6 seconds back, which is better than what a third of the field could say after they all dropped out.

Overall; AWESOME COURSE! It was in the parking lot of the Jesse Owns Mem. Stadium just off of OSU main campus, the turns were fast and hard, and there was nowhere to hide. Not to mention that the race was run very professionally.

What roads did you take? My brother in law lives in Franklin and wants to start riding on some hills. Everywhere we've ridden down there has been pretty flat.

Looking for a Great Lakes BF Jersey. Large or X-Large. I would have plaed this request on the normal BF general forum, but I really desire the Great Lakes BF jersey, and not so much the general BF jersey.

BF has a new jersey, but it does not look as nice as the Great Lakes one I saw when we rode to Welligton.

Psis... said that he would reorder if we got at least 10 whom desired them. So....
