10/25, 33 miles

Rode in to my parents to watch the Bears game.
Beautiful day, with the exception of the Bears game.

Cheers.

today, 24 mile ride, then a 2 mile run, beautiful day, didn't mind the SW wind a bit.

yesterday 5K race in morning,(for which I was way overdressed despite the 37 degree temp at start) then 21 mile ride in afternoon. Sure beat watching the Browns!

hard 20 in.... a liiiiiiittle bit colder than I expected (guess I had my mind on the 60's predicted for this afternoon), ended up getting a really cold chest making it a struggle today. Could've used just oooone more layer.

relatively easy 45 today. The only hard part were the climbs (boy, did I get slow) and the one part where I got the sudden urge to draft a car, and by the time I knew it, my PTap read 39 mph and I wasn't even in the slipstream yet!

10/27 An unexpected afternoon off, daughter had a DR. App. so I had to get her there then back to college. So after taking the time off I figure why waste a nice day!

By the numbers, some fun facts.
91 miles
4hours 49 minutes on the bike, total ride time 5 hours
number of stops made 1
18.4 ave speed
wind speed=zero
railroad at grade crossings 21
towns and villages rode through 11
rain ,yes, last 10 miles but just a drizzle
no car/bike incedents (very rare indeed)
One comicial dog incedent (taught the mutt the meaning of "ALPHA MALE")
hills climbed, no idea!! To damn many though!
Sun absent the whole day
Temp 62
food=one cliff bar,one gel, one snack size payday

Great ride!

Bout an hour and a half of cross riding in Medina's Regan Park. After drills and Z5 hill repeats I still had enough daylight to get 2 x 20 min. race pace intervals in. Bike and kit are a muddy mess.
