Bikes: Electra Amsterdam Royal 8i, a custom Nashbar touring bike...custom for somebody else, but I love him anyway, and a Surly Cross-Check frameset waiting to be built.

Is anybody else riding in it? I'm planning to do the 41 mile route.

I was going to but now I have to back to Anchorage for work on Sunday. I did the St. Paul Classic last week and wanted to cap that with the MPLS ride. I will be curious how many riders they get and if this one stays around. It looks like a nice route. Enjoy the ride!

Yep! Doing the Tour De Sprawl (Dakota County) on Saturday also. The Classic was a nice ride last week even with the wind early. Sounds like they have about 1500 pre registered

I plan on doing the Minneapolis Tour next Sunday.

My wife & I did the Jesse James Tour in Northfied last Saturday (63 miles) and the St. Paul Classic on Sunday.

The Jesse James Tour was very good. We got rained on at the very end of the St. Paul ride, mostly the ride from St. Thomas back to the car a few blocks away.

Hope we have good weather on Sunday.

Hey, do you guys know when the trails will be open to the public after the ride? I have to be in Mnpls for work and wanted to squeeze a ride in before meeting starts, maybe at noonish through 2 pm. I saw this ride and thought it would be fun but alas I won't be getting up at 2 AM to get the ride (coming up from Madison)! Haven't ridden in the Twin Cities before and really wanted to check out these paths.
