Recommend Bike shop in Twin Cities area?
Will be traveling to Twin Cities (and passing through Rochester) twice in next week. I'm looking at road bikes in approx the $2K-3K range. Just got back into biking, enjoying my 28 yr old Centurion Iron Man, but considering a new machine. Training primarily for enjoyment and some Sprint Tri (don't need a tri bike at this time). I'm 60yr/old currently riding about 140mi/week, working my way up. LBS has excellent buy on the Trek Madone 5.2 and I will be trying that soon. Otherwise, not much local. Been researching everything from Kestrel RT1000, Wilier GTS, Focus Ezalco Ergoride etc. Any ideas welcome!

Depends on what brand you're looking to get. The two big shops are Penn Cycle for Treks and Erik's for Specialized, Wilier, Pinarello, and Raleigh. Penn and Erik's both have shops all over the metro. There are quite a few smaller shops around too. Personally I prefer Erik's and I frequent the shop in Eagan.
