That will be me later. I took Feb. 1 as a vacation day months ago. Unfortunately, I am taking the kids into the city to see a show later today. That won't be fun, but until than...Woo HOOOOO!

It is a snow day. Both my boys are at home which is nice. But I spent the 1st 3 hours of my day doing my driveway, my inlaws, my favorite bike mechanics and his nice old lady neighbor who asked for help. Time for a shower.

Snow day for the kids. Snow day for the school district I work in. Snow shoeing in the local forest preserve with my son this afternoon.

SERIOUSLY! Sweet!! I was going to post that I spent 2 hours hand shoveling last night and this morning it looked like I hadn't done anything. I stuck the engine on my snow blower last storm.

I was actually dialing up this thread to say how crappy it is that I have to hand shovel, and tell about my 1.5 hour commute from Elgin to North Aurora .

Got stuck behind 4 plows going across all lanes on Randall from South Elgin all the way to Batavia - wierd because I though each town did their own part of Randall. Must have been county plows.

You can have ours. I shoveled about 6-8 inches last night then it was at least 4 inches more when I woke up. Yesterday morning was bare grass.

I have school off today over in Naperville. I saw my chance and just got back from a ride to wallgreens. Turns out, 23c slicks don't do to well in unplowed streets....
