After watching the ToC, I have to ask which member...

Which BIF-NICK member is going to be the first to sport a hip and trendy Dave Zabriskie stash?

I vote Psimet is rocking the look in his avatar within a week.

Ooooo...haven't seen his new stash, but I used to sport some good work. Tried a lot of different variants in college. Wife (fiance and the time - notcie how close that word is to 'finance') was PO'd when I shaved it for interviewing on my way out.

I grew it back (took 4 days) last fall when I got the road rash on my face from t-boning the dog.

I'd sport the trucker stash if it wouldn't mean I would lose all credibility at work.....so I guess that's a no...

I knew I was gonna win with that prediction.

Now, here's what we do to get through the boredom of this God-terrible winter....

You don't shave that upper lip until your first 50-degree spring day ride outside....updating your avatar each week.

Meantime, someone find a Dave picture to post here with his crazy new stash at the ToC!

This is as close as The CyLowe97 is going to get to Zabriskieville. This sparse patch of facial bristle is the curse I get for having a full head of hair.

Hip, you've got that face made for radio, right? This should be a no-brainer for you.

No can do for me. Department policy prohibits facial hair for uniform personnel.

+1 - I seriously can't do it because of the job. Lot's of reasons, but mainly growing one like that - although looking like fun - would tank my credibility. It would make me look like even more of a punk kid. Making some of the decisions that I make it could lead to conflicts.

Don't know how to really explain it further. Sorry. Lord knows it would be fun, but I would hate to have to keep explaining to people...."see there's this cyclist..." *insert cacophony of sound created by hunreds of eyes rolling* "...and then my online buddies...." <mumbles of 'is he serious?'>

Scroll down on this page and you'll see a picture of me circa 1985 in my cub reporter days. Now THAT's a nasty look!

^^That's awesome CyLowe!

Hey, check out my ToW thread in the road forum....check dates.
It wouldn't be the usual 'faster' ride, but it will be fun!

The ever-insrutable botto. So mysterious.

I was toying with the idea, but it might be better to come up with something original. Hmmmm...

Aww. Did you at least get a picture with Tugboat after you performed that pre-2004 Olympic Time Trial procedure?
