Thinking about it. I'm a weather watcher before committing. i think you can do the second day for only $10 if you did the first day. And you can camp out overnight. Sounds promising. Now if I just didn't have this little voice in the back of my head sayin gI have some sort of family committment.
Hey midschool, I bet I can guess your favorite band with less than 3 guesses. But can you guess mine?

Bike the Drive on the 25th. It is one activity that I have committed to doing this year "as a family." I need to stand by that one.

Anyone else thought about this one yet? Shemp and i met up last year for it and while the weather sucked ass i had a pretty good time with the exception of a boneheaded move that i made that almost ended me and another guys day pretty badly (shocking right? TQ does something stupid...man i felt bad after that near miss)

Lots a nice rolling hills and some good hearty free food at the end. I may do the bike the drive with the G/F if no one else is going to this one...

This is my FAVORITE ride! I will definitely be there. Both days, if possible. Love those rollers! My mom and neighbor are riding on Saturday with me.

It's my club that's hosting it so yes, I'll be riding it one of the days (probably with the wife on the tandem) and manning one of the rest stops the other day. I hope to see you out there.

Yeah, but, this ride is both Saturday AND Sunday! So you can ride it on the 24th and then still make the family all happy hunky dory on LSD on Sunday.

/bad influence on you.

I may be there on the 24th, but if my wife joins me, I won't be riding at a group pace.

We'll be arriving right around 7:00 and plan to roll out by 7:30. There are 3 of us...my mom, my neighbor and me. We'll be averaging around 15mph so anyone who wants to meet and ride with us is VERY welcome! The more, the better.

PM me if you want to arrange to meet up. Crystal

My plan is to roll out with three others at 8 on Saturday. I'm guessing the same on Sunday also.

Just look for Destroyer.

Anyone leaving a little later on Saturday? I have like an 80 minute drive to get there and I'm not an early bird, especially since I'm going out to a friend's place for cocktails in an hour.

Got the bike in the car, should be there around 9ish. Big guy in all red on a red Madone for any other late arrivals looking for a riding partner.

A teammate of mine's father helped run this event, and I got suckered into waking up at 4AM to drive up to Rockton and go for a beautiful ride in the country.

I'll long have fond memories of some of the baked treats that were laid out for us every 15 miles or so. I put a hard effort in, so I deserved every last one.
