Waterford Factory Tour and Ride

I know many of you will be suffering through the Horribly Hilly. Anyone going to do the Waterford Factory Tour and ride on June 14? Mr. Wiswell and I are in, but he's prefers shorter distances, so we are riding 45 miles after the tour.

When we hit out midlife crises, we might actually get a Waterford or Gunnar.

Hey there! I have fantasized about getting a Waterford or Gunnar. What makes them midlife crisis bikes!?!?!

PS - I just noticed the (new?) wider range of smileys available, hence my gratuitous overuse of the smileys. (Fun fact: BF limits us to 10 smileys per message)

The price. What distinguishes (some of) the cheeseheads from the BFNICs is our bicycle budget.

Touché. I'm such an incurable cheapskate bottomfeeder, no wonder I'm hooked on C&V. I'll probably never get a Gunnar or Waterford unless someone is throwing it out/giving it away.

I'm doing the HHH on the 14th, but enjoy the factory tour and post-tour ride.

I'll be channeling my inner (tiny, overweight, weak!) mountain goat that day at the HHH. Please be sure to check the dumpsters out back for something in a 56... you know, just in case.

Speaking of which, has my C&V lurking revealed that you have scored two bikes for $5 in the last few weeks?

Now, which of the BFNICs can lay claim to that kind of accomplishment!
We may not be able to achieve 20+ average, but our proportional speed to cost ratio is really high!

Nothing escapes you. Actually it's just the Schwinn LeTour that I got a couple weeks ago for $5. (A neighbor was trying to unload it for free, but I managed to bargain it up to $5.) link to thread

The Ladies Raleigh Sports was a CL freebie I picked up for my wife last fall, but I bumped the thread with an update because she just rode it for the first time. link to thread

That's right - best bang for the buck!
