Mmm... this sounds like fun. Maybe the 30+ field. But I don't know if I'm ready to crank out 50 miles at race speed. The longest I've done this year is 45 miles at a lousy 17mph. Not only that, but I'm sure there are some monsters in the 30+ field.

Not sure. Debating this over the BFNIC ride. Think I might be more in the mood for the BFNIC ride (cheaper at least). The gravel has me thinking I might want to do this though. I have no fear and a nice gravel section could give me an advantage.

Unless your threshold is something higher than about 325 watts - well, I hope you like 50 mile TTs.

Masters 30+ is always stacked.

So maybe the cat4 field then. I thought that the 30+ is prolly stacked with 1/2/3's.

OTOH... with ABR i'm still a 5 I assume, since I only have a USCF license.

This one gets me...

I want to race it because there are like what, 5 road races in the midwest and 3/5 are more like circuit races with 3 mile loops. On the other hand, I want upgrade points for USAC and toward that there is no reason to do any ABR race.

I'm on the fence for this one... though I'm leaning toward doing it.

Popper is a Cat. 4 on the road? To think we had a few sand baggers here in Wisco! Whoa ...

He did say in his blog, tho, that he was just looking for a workout. LOL
