Guess he means me. I only managed 148 for the 3 days. Of course that also includes 2 days of work.
I suck.

Lets face it,you and Gary go out on questionable days when a dogsled would be in order.
Heading west/southwest was an effort this weekend.I soon found out I need a second water bottle even though it,s April.

Well only 102 of that was with Gary the other 138 was with my wife. Me and Gary ave 18.5 sat. on a route that took us from Berea-Valley City- Lodi- west Salem-Oberlin- Grafton and back to Berea as you can tell that is a lot of INTO THE WIND! Me and the wife did Apple Creek- walnut creek-charm-millersburg-fredrickburg-apple creek Wind and hills, and today it was back to Lodi from Oberlin and back 35 miles INTO THE WIND!

OK,so we have only 5 brave souls in the headwinds of Lake Erie this weekend.
Mitch,we can,t have the local up and coming star athlete coming in second this season, your slated to race the frogs in Belgium next season.
Your a mechanic, can you grease the brake pads, add extra links to the chain on Mr.2007 National Champion?

Does two races in NE Ohio with a total of 57 miles count along with about 35 miles of warm up and cool down, along with the 45 minutes of easy spin on Friday? Less miles than some got in but maybe a little more intense at times, although riding into the wind can be a lung and leg busting event.

And Spry, did I miss your mileage for the weekend?

10 mile commute on Friday...then worked in the yard.
14 mile night ride Saturday after working in the garden & yard all day
42 miles to Massillon and back on Sunday

Between losing my 50 mile RT commute, putting in a veggie garden and the kid turning 18 and becoming more worthless for yard work than ever, my mileage is taking a beating this year.

I have been riding alot latley, just no time (ie hours to put in mass amounts of miles or visiting this site....).
Took my daughter to the Ohio City Bike Co-Op on Saturday for their "fun ride", there were a couple L.E.W. riders there. Nice day & nice people and after the fun ride my 14 yo daughter and I put up another 15 miles in the downtown area-

she's adorable, and quite the up and coming cyclist!! It sounds like you are making good use of your valuable time, riding w/your daughter. I wish I could get mine to go that far w/me. So far, she's good for 9-10 m., then the complaining starts.

Goba with my entire family in June! My daughter, I was trying to get her on a road bike as we saw a few Specalized she liked- then she just kept falling back into the "that seat is hard, it looks uncomfortable". She got this bike, almost identical to Mom's... She has done Rail/Trail last year and we ahve doen a couple 30 mile ride in prep for Goba...

They are riding each day of Goba except the lay over days-I hope to ride all the days?

We'll see.

Thanks for the invite. On Sunday I need to do a 65+ mile ride with at least 6 hills with 500' to 700' of climbing on each one. Google Earth just isn't showing it in Erie County. I'll just have to go to Western PA instead.
