If you want a video of someone winning the cat3 WI state crit champs, you should put the camera on my bike this saturday
I'll take you up on that! (WI State Crit. Champs in Ripon)

I'll be hanging around the S/F between races ... it takes < 5 mins to hook it up.

If anyone is racing the Pro 1/2/3, I'd love to get some footage of that too, I've got the
gear to cover two races per day.

Gee ... who's photo is on the race web page?

That's actually one of my fave's from last season, I've got a framed copy of that one.

There's also a 12 MTB race at John Muir in Lagrange, WI and a crit in Chicago at Sherman Park. Anything happening on Sunday?

Sunday? nothing I'm aware of. other than...Hmmm, sleeping in with sweet dreams about successfully out sprinting everyone at Sherman park followed by nightmares of exploding somewhere in the Blue Mounds race in the last 5 min of the first lap and riding the following 22 miles struggling to hold a draft off old women riding comfort bikes.

Can someone tell me how the state championship works exactly? It says on the website that it's by USCF category but does that include Master's? I typically race M4/5, but will switch to straight 4/5 if I have a chance at a jersey. Is there a masters state champ awarded in each category too?

Thanks.

There are masters jerseys too. Jerseys only go to residents of WI with an annual license though.

I'm in for the 3's followed by the P123.

Greetings direct from Ripon!

Beautiful day here, bright sunny skies and 70F. Women start in 30 mins, just checking a new video card I bought at the Fondulac Walmart.

It should be a great day for racing!

Be careful if you go! I know a guy who tried one of those earlier this year and crashed into a ditch.

Sherman Park was blech. Rain. flats everywhere. Crash. 1/2 the field down. I made it through only to run over a bike at the end and get a flat. Wheel pit closed. Teammates won the first 2 races. Only high point.

Geeze, just more sunburn up here in east central WI. Life's rough up here in cow country.

Awesome day, fair turnout - probably a little better than last year. Slightly different course from last year. To me, it looked easier, but riders deny that.

Frunkin ran the video cam today.

Good times!

Sorry I didn't get this message before the race! I would have totally used it and been more motivated by it.

Can't wait to see the video. You probably have 2 good shots of me in it. One while I'm making a face and another while I'm pulling back his attack.
