Any bike trail between Skokie and Lake Forrest Illinois?

Looking to park somewhere and ride to Lake Forrest. When I took Metra a while back I recall it went parraellel to some bike trail, but I can't seem to find it on google?

You can pick up the trail that is just west of Old Orchard shopping center. Go north all the way thru the Botanical Gardens. Then head west on Lake Cook road just past Skokie Blvd is the trail that will go 8 miles straight north to Lake Forest. You can go east at the end of that trail to just past Western ave and pickup up the last trail all the way to North Chicago. The whole way is paved. No dirt or gravel.
