Ozaukee Interurban bike trail bridge is up but not open yet
They have errected the bike path bridge sections going over I-43, looks like it spans the frontage road as well. Don't know if the path will then extend across the farmlands or put riders back onto the frontage road, also don't know if the eastern side will still go through the neighborhood or if they plan to clear and pave the rest of the RR grade up to the bridge.
I also don't know if this has been posted already. I guess I don't know much today.
Anyway, it's up, can't ride on it yet though.

Between hwy-32 and hwy-33 just south of the Sauk Road overpass and just north of the other overpass that I forget the name of. Comes over the freeway just north of the boat storage place between Grafton and Port.

Me either. Path stopped in a neighborhood, through the neighborhood, along a secondary road, over the freeway, along the frontage road, more neighborhood, and down the hill to the river and into Grafton. I thing some people wanted a dedicated freeway crossing, maybe the low shoulder made some folks nervous.

I've been told it'll go down the electric ROW, basically following the trail. Families with small children, people not used to traffic etc didn't like that stretch. My first time through it took a bit to figure out the way through the neighborhood, but not a big deal. I think the subdivision also prefers the trail bypassing it.

I've been watching this go up over the past few months and I think it's great. The old route wasn't difficult but it was enough to keep some of the most timid from venturing any further north (or south).
