While I am living in Elgin right now I do have family in Carmel, used to live in Bloomington, and went to college in West Laffalot (best damn decade of my life). I make it through the area a lot, and have done the RAIN ride 2 years in a row. Keep me in mind if you guys are setting up anything in the area.

A soon-to-be Bloomington resident here. My fiancee was just hired by the IU library, and I will be moving up with her. The best part is that I don't have a job there yet, so I get plenty of time to ride my bike before I get full-time employment. Whee!!!

Cardinal Greenway, Hilly Hundred down in Southern Indiana, there's a route from Lafayette to Fort Wayne, Indiana, the Monon Trail in Carmel and Indy! All kinds!

How about Bainbridge? Yep, Putnam Co., home of some of the worst county roads in Indiana!

Yeah, in fact I grew up in the Gaston area near 28 & 69 and my husband is from Selma so we travel through Alexandria all the time to visit his family. I've been thinking about catching the trail in Gaston and taking it to his grandparents house which is south of Muncie on 35. I saw you did that ride and wondered how you liked it.

I'm the bum he rode with and the trail is really nice. One bottleneck from traffic at a crossing in Muncie, but really nice otherwise. It's also convenient to food, etc!
