Keiren Races tonight at Kenosha Velodrome

The Kenosha Velodrome will hold Keiren races on July 28. The 3rd Annual Kenosha Keiren for Cat 1-2 men will have a prize lst of $500 and the 2nd Annual Amy Tremelling Memorial Women's Keiren will have a prize list of $300. The prize list sponsor is State Farm InsuranceJoe Werwie Agency.
The Keiren is a 5 lap race paced by a motorcycle for the first few laps, then an all out sprint for the line. Speeds for the winners exceed 40 MPH..
There will also be additional category races, Visit www.333m.com for rmore information.

Here's the 4's on the track:
Cat. 3
Saw one crash - pic. He hit his head, broke his helmet, but they said that he looked okay. Quite literally, he got the snot knocked out of him - pic. I was across the track and I couldn't quite see it on the camera. Was thinking maybe his glasses slipped down. Nope. I always thought that was just an expression, but I guess there's truth behind them all.
It was a good time as always.

I forgot about it! Was going to go check it out tonight! That will teach me to not put it on my calendar!
Oh well . . . I think I may go down next week Tuesday.
