Note I left out the part about the mile long climbs at 5 mph.

Wait. I've said too much.

seeing as how Melissa's due date is 5/28, I don't see me making it. I'll put this down as the first of many things I will miss this coming summer due to new dad duties

Here's item one on your new dad duties. Emulate these crazies.

I rode more as a new dad than I think I have ever or since.

Besides....what are you thinking having a kid right at the early peak of the season? you'll miss spring because "It could be any day now and I shouldn't go too far away" and June/july andAugust will vanish into thin air. Don't you know the "rhythm" method includes consulting a season calendar before going to bed?

I also hope to be sporting a new bike built by Psimet (no pressure or anything there...).
That would be fun to ride with you! If you decide to hang back with me I hope Dawn can come with me as well but I'd love to ride with you! It would be a long day (ha) We'd really get to know each other better !!!!! I can consult you on more lesson planning!

Can't wait to see the bike!

Let's drive over together. We will have soooo much to get caught up on!!!!!! Really, this ride is not much harder than the Rockton ride we did and you were riding up those hills with no hands talking on a cell phone.

Sounds good about driving together. I guess I'd better get off the couch and hit the trainer. It looks like I've got myself committed (others have been trying to have me committed for years)

You know we have to go recon the route in April and/or May, right? Need to make sure the roads are tip top.

Don't tell anyone, but this is a Wisconsin cup race. You can open up a huge lead in the standings with a win.

And you likely wont. What NW suburb do you live in? Your best bet is probably riding north into Wisconsin, but depending on the suburb, that could be a hell of a long ride.
