The first month of racing is stacked with interesting races...I Was really bummed about HB, but Leland will easily make up for it.
I did it last year, a certain local cyclocross badass (BP) was racing the 4s and he tore apart the field as soon as there was a tailwind. funny the way it happened, actually.

Still - one of my favorite racing moments locally - ever - had to be him and Conant head to head at the race Mayo put on this year. Side by side hops into the sand pit - just sick.

The most surprising thing was that there was another guy in the race who was stronger. BP came second. His reason for racing the 4s was that he's really a 5.
btw, HB cat 4s features two CX badasses as well. If the two work together they will break away and nobody can bring them back.

Can't race anything before May 10. Actually, I might take a weekend off collegiate racing 10th/11th or 17th/18th to help with the GDVC race, do a P12 race before Nationals. I'll be in the middle of the hardest week of my life at that point.
I really wish I could do Hillsboro. That P/1/2 field would be sick...
