Tips on riding Grand Rapids to Minneapolis
I plan to head out in August for 6-10 days. I will take either the ferry out of Muskegon or Ludington. Want to make this a motel tour so I won't be packing cooking or camping gear. Looking for suggestions for a good route. Any thoughts!

Here is a link to the WI county bike maps which are a very good source and there are other good links on this page as well. Personally I would try take advantage of the super state trails as much as possible. Connecting to the Elroy-Sparta to the Great River trail and then up the WI side of the Mississippi would be my choice.

You might also consider heading up Lake Michigan and a more northern arc across the state if the weather is really hot during that time. County and most town roads are paved through out the state so if you have the time you can take a more relaxed route regarding traffic.
Have a great trip!
