Fox River Trail - Aurora, IL -- question

I've been wanting to ride the Fox River Trail, and I think this weekend will be the weekend to give it a try. I think I want to start in Aurora and ride north for a bit before turning around. My question is, where would be the best place to pick up the trail in Aurora? Where's the best trail heads? I've looked at various maps and websites, but nothing has been too helpful. I'm hoping to get some good info from the locals.

Thanks in advance for any information provided.

Well, I never did make it out to the Fox River Trail that weekend, but my wife and I finally did get there this morning. I think we've found a new favorite trail.

We started near the casino and rode north to Batavia. Chilled out at McD's for a bit before heading back. We loved the fact that we only had to cross only one street at surface level (Illinois Ave). Lots of folks were out enjoying the nice morning, although we were wondering if there was some of running/jogging event taking place; there were tons of joggers out in droves.

Didn't think to take my GoPro with me, so I'll definitely have to make another trip to record my next ride.

I am interested to see how it goes, I would prefer a less traveled trail, but I could enjoy a slow ride too.

I take that trail whenever I ride to work. Except I start in Elgin and go south to Geneva. When it's not crowded it is a great ride. The south Elgin section is fun. With several little climbs to play around with too. If you go again you have to go up A hill near the building that used to be Capone's Hideaway. It is short but at a 9ish percent grade it can be a leg burner.
