Bike 4 Trails of Wisconsin
Has anyone done the Bike 4 Trails of Wisconsin recently? Those being the Great River Trail, the LaCrosse River Trail, the Elroy-Sparta Trail, and the 400 trail. Just curious for those that ridden the trails, if you were to try and add a hundred miles or more to that trail system for a week long tour, what would be your route? As always, thanks for your input.

A friend and I are going to try them in 2 weeks actually. We are leaving from Dodgeville and riding up to Reedsburg, then up to LaCrosse. We are heading down the Great River Road from there to Potosi and then back to Dodgeville. We are planning on 5 days and I think the whole loop is about 300 miles. I've heard alot of good things about riding the GRR and it looks like it's just some bike paths and roads in LaCrosse to combine them, hopefully!

The great river road is really awesome. I would start as far north as possible and follow river routes with as hot as this summer is.
Keep in mind that any Wisconsin state park will find you a place to pitch a tent if you arrive on a bike, even if they are full.
