Ann Arbor Rides

Are there any Ann Arbor rides coming up? Would anybody be willing to work with me to organize one? Thanks!

Check the AA bike shops and clubs. They will know. Try http://www.aabts.org/ and http://www.aavc.org/. I suspect the clubs have regularly scheduled rides. Also check the League of Michigan Bicycle calendar. http://www.lmb.org/index.php?option=...list&Itemid=22

AA has a pretty active bicycling community, so I suspect there is a lot going on.

The Helluva ride is a popular event coming up in July.

And if you like big rides:

Hey there! I live in Ann Arbor! There are tons of rides every week...the major groups are:

Ann Arbor Bicycle Tour Society (so many different rides per week)
University of Michigan Cycling Club (not too many organized rides during the summer, maybe one a week)
Ann Arbor Velo Club (3-4 rides per week)
Ann Arbor Triathlon Club (sporadic)
Bike Ypsi (about 2 rides per week)

Plus...I'm pretty sure Two Wheel Tango and Wheels In Motion bike shops host rides! Send me a message and let me know what type of riding you do...what sort of pace you prefer to keep...and I can probably point you towards the best group for you!

Hi, Literary! I'm in AA as well, on the west side. I haven't really started my riding season yet, but I am doing One Helluva Ride on July 13.

I know Wheels in Motion organizes rides, but I'm not too sure about Two Wheel Tango. Another place to ask is Great Lakes Cycles, where I think some of the best bike techs in town work.

Biggest variety is certainly from AABTS.

What kind of ride do you want to organize? Interest me!
