Meh. I live downstate, so what happens up in Chicago doesn't concern me as much as what happens down near St. Louis.

Also, doesn't "League of American Bicyclists" sound like some sort of superhero association?

I live in the west burbs, out in Kane County --- we have a wonderful trail system out here, and almost all of them connect. It's a wonderful resource - ck out Kane County Bike Maps online, and it even contains some neighboring counties trails and connections.

I like the way they've been able to connect some of the trails to make it easier to get farther.

Why move from commuting? Many, many, people commute on them every day. Most go right thru the middle of every town around here.
