North Shore Century 2013 - Chicago area

Anyone doing the North Shore ride this year?

I know it is a big ride and would love to bump into some other BF posters out there.

Several of us from the McHenry County Bike Club are planning to ride. We'll be wearing our signature yellow jerseys with the Udder cow on the front.

Possibly. Last rode this event 20 years ago! Is there quite a bit of car traffic?

(Doing the Harmon Hundred on the 8th starting in Wilmot, Wi). Cheer's

I thoroughly enjoy this year's Udder century, although we only did the 50 miler it was well worth it.

Last year traffic wasn't horrible especially if you start early in the morning, I was rolling by 6:15. However i ride a lot of the same roads they used so i am already familiar with traffic patterns. But it was a fantastic ride last year and my first century ever. As long as I am in town i will ride it every year.
