Been a busy, busy year riding my bikes

It certainly has. I joined here more than six months ago, but became quite busy.

I've been taking photographs on my bike, and I've been on the Lake Shore Drive bike path several times, as well as Michigan Ave, State Street, Jackson Blvd to name a few. I've also been to Skokie, Evanston, Wilmette, and Kenliworth, IL.

Now that colder weather is here, I'm taking the time to protect my investments, and that includes switching my tires to self-sealing bike tubes and putting in bike racks on both bikes for easier traveling. I'm also putting together an emergency kit for both bikes, because I've blown out three bike tires this year alone, and I'm not gonna let that happen again in 2015, which is why I'm putting it together now. I also signed up at a bike registry to ensure if it ever got stolen, I'd be in good shape getting it back. 2015 should be a good year...... I hope.

Also, beginning in April, I will expand my bicycle riding into the northwestern suburbs, and seeing what I can find there. It should be a fun year. I'll be using the Metra Union Pacific North and Northwest lines fairly often in 2015.
