New Years Day ride at Waterfall Glen Forest Preserve

I'm trying to think of / remember the name of the bicycle club that did (and maybe still still does) a New Years day ride at the Waterfall Glen forest preserve at the Argonne National Laboratory. My wife and I would go sit in the parking lot and watch the riders get ready and head off down the trail. They were a hardy bunch for as cold as it was the few times we went there.

Anyways, I've been racking my brain, and doing lots of Google searching, but so far I have drawn a blank. If anyone know what group this was / is, I'd appreciate the info. Thanks in advance.

I was thinking maybe it was the Bike Psychos club (Oak Lawn), but didn't see anything on their website about it.

I don't think it was Elmhurst. It was, I think, a club that was local to me, at that time, in the south suburbs (Alsip).

Okay, turns out it was them. Found the FaceBook page for the club, and posted the question there, and got the reply that yes, it was their club that did the New Year's day ride, and they will be doing it again this coming Jan. 1st.

Thanks lowbike for putting the idea (back) in my head that it may be the Oak Lawn / Bike Psychos club.
