How do you keep it fresh?

I aspire to ride 100 miles a week which I often do and often more. I live in a pretty good biking area in Vermont, but still it's hard to keep the rides fresh and interesting. When I have time, I'll drive to a new area and bike from there. What do you do to keep your rides fresh?

I ride a a Road, Hybrid, and Mountain bike! THAT definitely keeps it fresh. Also try riding with different people or groups, the different paces people go can make an old ride seem new.

This.

I find that owning different types of bikes and mixing up rides (some group, some solo) keeps things interesting for me. It's always a fresh perspective when I hop on a bike that I haven't ridden in a while - it's one of the great things about N+1.

Get a bike computer, and play head games on the same rides. Try and beat your last average speed, hit a new personal top speed record, do it in a better time, perfect your cadence. Same ride will always pose a new challenge!

+1 on mixing it up. Or, just go off the beaten path. Explore. Turn there, not here. Reroute the return trip.
