2015 specialized sirrus elite carbon disc upgrades

I bought a 2015 sirrus elite carbon disc XL and im doing a few upgrades. I added a carbon seat post with 20* setback vs stock 12.5. I am wanting to change stem and handle bars to carbon. I would like to try a shorter stem to compensate for the set back on the seat post but cant find the length of stock stem for xl.I see that the elite carbon comes with 6* of rise and the other sirrus carbons come with 12*.On handlebars i would like to stay around stock specs any ideas or models to look at? Does anyone know where i can get some green brake hose to match the green on the bike? Also i added a seat and continental gatorskin 700x32c

Very cool additions to your bike! I don't know about seat post setbacks. Does your new post move the seat farther away from the handlebars? I just tested the Sirrus Elite and thought the seat was too close but I'd be worried about changing the bike geometry in the middle of the bike.

Beautiful bike!
How is it on rough pavement?
Do the carbon fork and zertz really soak up vibration and jolts, or do you try and avoid them?

685Mm stock 620. I am 6'1 225 bench 360 so i have wide shoulders did 40 miles today . The bike rides really well but not like a big tire shock bike.I have added 700x32 tires with 80lbs of pressure carbon post and handle bars. I had a giant comax 2 before these and this bike blows it out of the water in confort.I have been fighting a creaking noise that is driving me nuts. Need to figure out if its the lower bracket may have to remove and grease.

Interesting that you had a Giant Comax. Is that the Fastroad? I'm looking at that bike along with the Sirrus. What's better about the Sirrus?

I have the same creaking noise on my Carbon Comp. I'm Taking it to my LBS tomorrow morning to figure it out. I hear the noise wether I'm slightly pedaling and when I'm pedaling heavy. The guy at my LBS originally thought it might be my seat post & re lubed it, but it didn't help.

Same hear weather im pedaling easy or pounding away its always there. Let me know what u find out. I regreased my seat post when i added carbon post but still there. Im pretty sure its in the crank area. Going to re lube pedals to c if that helps. I wonder if there is any warranty type of fix on this issue. My bike is 3 weeks old. Seems to be getting louder.IT SO ANNOYING. Going to call specialized and c what they say.

For me the comax2 was very ridged. And the position didnt fit me. If ur inbetween a l and xl go xl. The bike felt compact to me.The sirrus rides way better to me. I would say the comax2 seemed closer to a drop bar road bike than a hybrid. The plus for giant is price point for components wise u get more for ur dollar. The sirrus was 1410 and comax2 was 1456.Giant is a quality bike but just didnt fit me.heres the giant

Shifter cables in stalled still waiting on bleeder ro do brakes. Installed some shimano click'r pedals also. Did 45miles in them back to platform's.loved the click'r pedals but my knee and feet hurt after. Loved been clipped in but the downfall is i couldnt move my foot around to give my foot a break of constantly pressing in same spot.I also got a set of bontegra shoes.

Did you find out what was making the creaking noise?

found creak the culprit was seat post. I took regular grease on a popsicle stick and put as far down as possible then cleaned clamping area then add carbon grease all over the seat post stem covered it put in post put lube on clamp and bolt tightened and no more creak. Before this i removed seat and post and took it for a spin. I would try this before anything else. i also turned clamp around but not sure if i should have when i got it the bolt was closer to handlebars i just spun it 180.

got the hydraulic lines on and the front is done but for some reason my calipers didnt have bleed screws. I had one extra i used to finish the front but the back dosent have fluid in it yet. Is it normal to not have bleed screws in the calipers? I will go to local lbs to c if they have one so i can finish up the brakes.

Looks sweet! I just bought the same bike in Medium, and starting to look at upgrades. Love the yellow cable covers, and now looking into the carbon seat posts and bar!
