Trek 7.3 FX 2011 model or Trek 7.3 FX 2015 model - which would you choose
Long time lurker, first time poster.
I currently ride a Scott G-Zero but don't do much mountain riding any more. So was looking at a cheap Hybrid.
Found an almost new 7.3 FX seller says its s 2012 model, has receipt but it's White, so I think its a 2011 model sold in 2012. I can buy this for £250, which includes 2 brand new helmets and a Cateye Strada.
But Trek have just dropped the price of their new 7.3 FX in Lime to £450.
What would you buy if you just needed a second bike?
Or should I forget the Trek and look for something completely different?

I'd offer the first guy 200, explaining why.... barring success, I'd go for the new one...

He previously wanted 345 and has come down to 250. I doubt he'll go any lower but I'll see. He is probably putting a value on the helmets and strada too.
Trek seem to be discounting a few of their FX bikes at the moment. Still can't decide if I should get an FX or DS.
But I don't want to land up paying for features I will never use. But did like the idea of disc brakes.
