Each of them are nice bikes. Ride them and see which one feels best. If they feel the same, go by color/look. I have the 2015 7.4 Disc and like it a lot.

I'm not a fussed about the bike. All 3 seemed fine to me. I wanted to know in terms of equipment on the bikes, which is better from the 3. To get hydro disc brakes the notches are quite high up. Trek is currently discounting a few in the UK and that's why the Trek 7.4 was entered into the mix, otherwise I was looking at the Trek 7.3

I don't know why I even bothered to look at the specs! Escape 0 easy wins! Looks the best of the bunch, too!

Going through a similar thing. Tested a 2015 Trek7.5 FX today, really loved the comfort of the ride. Not sure if it was the carbon fork, the tires, or
the really comfortable hand grips. It was a size-20. At another LBS, tested a 2014, beautiful shiny black paint job, it was a size 17.5.
The 2014, 7.5 was priced to compete with the 2015 7.4. These 2 are more in my price range and are $300 cheaper than the brand new Trek 7.5 (2015).
Hate to compromise, going back to ride a (2015) 7.4, hope its everything that the 7.5 (2015) was.
Any of you guys have any input regarding the value proposition of 7.4 vs. 7.5 ********** Really sorta sold on Trek, but will consider other suggestions.
thx

I've got the 7.4 (non-disc = carbon fork) and I like it a lot. The difference between it and the 7.5 is the components/gearing. Do you want Road bike components (Tiagra 20speed) or Hybrid/MTB bike components (27 speed). It's quite a price jump to get those components. I have no real experience with the difference between the two gear sets. I do like the perception of having more flexibility with my gears that the 27 speed gets me. I'm not sure how much that really comes into play in comparison to road bike gearing. That's the main thing you'll have to compare between the two, everything else is pretty much the same.

I just bought a used 2013 7.2 fx in MATTE Black. Sharp looking bike and the standover fit me better than a Spec Sirrus Elite that I road tested. The Escapes are nice but was a bit tall as well....guess I'm not much help. Oh and it was $300 on CL.

I got my Giant Escape 0 and what a bike! Moving from an MTB with dual shocks to this is quite a change. It's like a rocket on the road. Also I wasn't sure about going 'backwards' from disc brakes to rim ones, but I think the Giant's rim brakes are better than the disc brakes I had!

Am in the UK and the 2015 Escape 0 is quite easily available here. There is another range called the "New Escape 2015" that doesn't have a "New Escape 0" model within the line-up.
