Saddle – Has this happened to you?
This is not a what saddle do you think is best question. Instead its a compatibility question, maybe its happened to other forum members.
I found by trial and error, usually WTB saddles agree with me. I purchased a WTB Rocket a few years back to use on a retro road bike I restored. It was very comfortable on that bike, later I installed it on a Cannondale Cyclocross (X7), I had. Well, figured I would install it on my Trek 7.2 FX and all would be well.
But it hasn't been as comfortable on the Trek as the other two bikes. Have I changed, or is the hybrid geometry changing my comfort level for that saddle?
I also have a WTB Rocket on my Giant NRS2, which came on it, and is very comfortable, and another WTB on my Schwinn MTB. I am thinking of buying the WTB Pure Race saddle to see if it works on my Trek. I have tried oher brands of saddles, but, none works for me like the WTB's.
To summarize, is my FX affecting my saddle or is it my imagination?

A saddle is going to feel different on different types of bikes. That's why when you get fitted for a saddle they ask what kind of bike it's being installed on. For example, for bikes that have lower bars that I will be leaning forward on I am sized on a 143 but on a hybrid I'm sized on a 155.
So so to answer your question it's not your imagination. The FX probably has a more upright seating position which is different from the other two bikes it was installed on so it isn't as comfortable.
