I have an opportunity to buy a 2014 Giant Escape Rx Composite bike that has barely been used for a very good price. I am exactly 6'0" tall with no shoes on but this bike is a medium. I'm not sure If the bike will be too small for me. The bike is several hours away so I don't want to drive that far to only test drive it to find out its too small. I know everyone's body is different but for those of you who are my height, what say you? I'll welcome any opinions.

Are the normal Giant Escape's the same size? If so, I could find a bike shop that carries Giant's and see how a medium feels. Thoughts?

I have no idea if Escape Rx Composite is sized same/different than regular Escapes, so I can't answer your last question. I did, however, test ride a regular Escape and some Roams last weekend. I'm 5'11" and I fit a Roam in medium but an Escape (again, the regular one) in large.

Thanks for the quick feedback. Sounds like it could possibly be small for me if it is the same size as the regular Escape. I'll have to see if I can find the sizing for both

I'm 5'10 without shoes and I went for the Escape 2 in XL. It just felt better to me than the large.
