Suggestion of Hybrid bike under $500

I am thinking to get a hybrid bike that is under $500 in Sydney.

My objective is have plenty of low gear (triple) for easy to get uphill on paved road. May consider go to off-road in the future.

Thanks !

Thanks ! Trek fx 7.1 is about $599 in Sydney. And it is 3x7 = 21 speeds and not sure if it is enough for climbing the hill.

Is Reid City 2 ($450) good ? It has (3x9) Altus 27 speeds, 14.5 kg. Crankset - 26T/36T/48T and speed Cassette (11-32t). Is thatgear ratio good for climbing the hill ?

Another is Polygon Heist 2.0 $499. The gear is 24 speed but got disc brake. Not sure about the weight

Which one is better ?

If you are on paved roads consider not pushing around a suspension fork. Either save $ https://www.bicyclesonline.com.au/20...29er-city-bike or get more bike Save Up to 60% Off Shimano Disc Brake Flat Bar Wide Tire Hybrid Bikes | Fixie | Windsor Bikes - The Hour | Save up to 60% off Hybrid and Shimano bicycles or https://www.reidcycles.com.au/osprey...road-bike.html or https://www.reidcycles.com.au/urban-x1.html. I'd say any of the triples will give a lower gear than you will probably use. Even a 16 speed might work depending on that hill.
