Buying New Bike 300-400 Budget

Hello,

I am looking to buy a new hybrid bike with a max of 300-400 Budget. The cheaper the better.

I will be using it mainly in roads for my daily 10mile commute.

After doing some research my options come down to this 3:

-Trek FX 7.1 (380)/7.2 (430)
-Specialized Sirrus (400)
-Giant Escape 3 (300)

Which one of those 3 would you recommend?
I know that trying them myself is better, but I will appreciate your comments from your knowledge about the topic.

Thanks in advance!!

The first thing that jumps out to me is that the Sirrus is an 8-speed vs. the other two which are 7-speeds. When it comes to derailleurs, the Escape has Tourney (bottom tier), the Sirrus has Altus (next step up), and the FX has a mix of Tourney and Acera (next step up from Altus). So from a components standpoint, I’d say the Sirrus is the best, then the FX, and finally the Escape.

Having said that, the differences aren’t night-and-day, and should really only factor into your decision as a tie-breaker after you ride them. It may be that the 700x35 tires on the Trek or the slightly longer wheelbase on the Giant make one of those more comfortable to you personally.
