2015 Sirrus Comp Carbon?
I have a 2015 Sirrus Comp Carbon Disc that I got from my LBS a few weeks ago. I love the bike but I noticed something odd. The website states it is made from Fact 9r Carbon. The decal on the bike says 8r. I checked all the other specs and everything seems correct for the 2015 model. The tag says the frame was made in May of 2014 so I looked at the 2014 specs but those have different seat stays and alloy seatposts. Anybody else have a 2015 Sirrus Carbon? What does yours say? Do I have 8r Carbon or a mistaken decal?

Just did. I'll see what they say. It might be moot. I've found what looks like two air bubbles in the right sear stay. I'm gonna take it to the shop t see if it's an issue for concern.

FYI, this is the response from Specialized-
"There was a running change on the Sirrus Comp Carbon Disc models in 2015. They are made with our 8r carbon.
There is a very small difference in the 8r and 9r carbon layup. This would not even really be noticeable to most riders. They have very similar stiffness's and weights. 9r being slightly lighter and stiffer."
