Hybrid Bike - Steel vs. Aluminum Frame
Hello.
I'm looking to buy a new hybrid to lose some weight and for casual rides (less than 30 miles). I'll only be riding on paved bike paths, neighborhood streets, and an occasional country road.
Based on budget and my current weight, I've narrowed my search down to three bikes:
Question: Will the steel fork on the Sirrus and Allegro Sport provide enough comfort even though the frames are aluminum, or will an all-steel bike provide a noticeably better ride?
Thanks.

Based on budget and my current weight, I've narrowed my search down to three bikes:
- 2016 Specialized Sirrus (24 speed) - Aluminum frame / Steel fork
- 2016 Jamis Coda Sport (24 speed) - Chromoly steel frame and fork
- 2014 Jamis Allegro Sport (21 speed) - Aluminum frame / Chromoly steel fork
Question: Will the steel fork on the Sirrus and Allegro Sport provide enough comfort even though the frames are aluminum, or will an all-steel bike provide a noticeably better ride?
Thanks.
