Cannondale XYZ barends, stock parts on some Cannondale mountain bikes about twenty years ago.
1987 Specialized Stumpjumper re-imagined as a hybrid!
Here are my two. I had been away from cycling for about 18 years. And I moved to an area that is very hilly. So I decided to sell my Bianci Brava road bike and my old Jazz mountain bike and get a hybrid. I bought the Specialized Crosstrail and started to hit the local rails2trails. It is a great bike. A little heavy, but can go just about anywhere. I then decided that I wanted to try hitting the roads again. Well the Crosstrail is just not that kind of bike. And I was still concerned about being able to do the hills where I live (I'm 50). So I purchased the DiamondBack Insight 2. It also met my needs at the time. Light weight for what it is. After that, I just decided to get a full blown road bike and purchased a GT Series2 from the local Performance store. Now I'm thinking about getting a dedicated Mountain for getting back into real off road riding. But here are my two hybrids.

Here's my 1991 Bianchi Advantage. I replaced the stock riser bars recently with some Nitto Dove bars that I flipped for a lower position. I hated the risers because my hands went numb and the upright position hurt my ass. Riding it before the change was torture after 30 minutes or so. Now I've ridden it for 2+hours and am loving it.
I added some old school cloth tape to the front curve for another hand position.
Well I got told by some riders of "expensive" carbon fibre road tandems, that our new alum. tandem was "only" a Hybrid Tandem so LOL, I guess it fit's here!
Trek T-900, bought July 2011.
Take care, RIDE SAFE, have FUN!
1993 Mongoose Switchback MTB, converted to a "comfort bike"! :)
2007 Trek 7.2 FX. Nothing special, just a ****load of fun.
I've been lurking for a while, this is my first actual post on this site. Here's a picture from a ride a few weeks ago. Better picture of the city than the bike, but still.

Borrowing my friend's CX bike with road tires for the weekend. Depending on how I like his CX bike, once I get the funds, I may have to buy a CX bike and join the CX forum. I will still be pretty active here, though. It is a Kona Jake the Snake (I don't know what year) frameset built up with an unknown shimano triple crankset (I didn't look at it), a Deore rd, I don't know what fd, a wheelset, Sora brifters (8sp). A CX bike is a hybrid in its own sense of the term.
We'd love to see a pic of your bike, but this is not it.
I wouldn't post an aerial view of my gf in the playmate thread. Why would you do the same in this thread?
