My first bike in a long time. Just a base model 7.3 fx, although I have a few upgrades I would like to get done.

Hi, yall. I'm new here. I inherited this from my older sister, don't know much about it except it's a blast to ride.

Stargazing from a bike. Note Venus to the right, the constellation Orion to the left.

Very cool! Beautiful bike and beautiul picture. I am a terrible photographer when it comes to this kind of stuff. Did you use a tripod and change your ISO or what?

From the angle, I'm guessing no tripod, but camera resting on a flat surface to prevent movement, and a longer exposure.

^^ Nice... X-Linked and I exchanged some messages about doing a drop bar conversion on my old hybrid. Thanks for being so helpful man!

I decided to sell off the old hybrid and just buy a new hybrid! It was also my first bike build.

this bike has cyclocross DNA, drop bars, steel frame, fender/rack mounts, disc brakes, and clearance for HUGE tires...

my new hybrid bike: Redline Metro Classic w/ SRAM Apex.

Mini-tripod shot; 13 second exposure on that one I think. It's a new camera; I was just playin' around, trying to get Venus. When I got home and saw Orion, I was like... wow!

There was a street light off to the right which provided the dramatic off-angle lighting on the bike. I took the pic on a grassy median in the middle of the road.

Hey everyone,
I am new here and I graduated myself from walmart brand bike 3 wks ago and bought this Diamondback Insight 2. I rode 23 miles on it today. The only reason I didn't ride it longer is because I didn't want to ride in the dark . Maybe more next time!

That is stunning. It's not me, but there ain't a damn thing wrong with that ride. Holy cow. You hit that one deep, and unplayable. Simply beautiful.

That's what the forums are here for. I did get to see this in the Hot or Not thread. Definitely a sweet ride. How do you like the double tap? I have switched my Manocoque over to Force and the Allez over to Rival. I am really digging the operation. The 105 is still smoother though.

Just playing around earned you a fantastic shot. Way to ride and shoot. Like a Biathlon of art.

runningDoc Your bike is very inspiring to me, I just so happen to be starting this new project. I've wanted a CX beater bike and i'm starting with this late 80's Giant innova hybrid. I use to ride this thing 20 years ago and have fond memories of it, time to make it spin again with a new paint and updated components with drop bars 700c wheels and it should take 40c tires.

That's a very fine steed but that rack will hold a hybrid and a roadie.
