I finally took some non camera-phone pictures today.

This bike has been fantastic so far (2013 7.2fx)!

It's a decent setup as it is for my purposes. I swapped out the Selle Royal saddle for a WTB Pure V Pro, have snap-on fenders for wet weather, mounted a Cateye computer, and just bought a pair of Crank Brothers Mallet 1 pedals to replace the junk Wellgos.

I've owned a Felt 80, but bought another house to rebuild a couple of years ago that put an end to longer rides. I sold it, and get wistful about it every now and again. I've promised myself a new road bike for my 70th birthday as a goal to completing the house reconstruction.

Looks like southern California by looking at the mountains/vallies.

I was visiting my folks in southern Nevada. Very picturesque landscapes!

Fuji Absolute 3.0. Fairly stock but have some things on order. New pedals/shoes on the way, waiting for my adventure strap to mount my extra tube and CO2, front/rear lights, and a new seat.. Adding a pair of fenders once I sell the others I have that did not fit.

I've also got a pair of riser bars for the end to use when I change out the stock grips.

Havasu? Parker? Bullhead City? I know that bridge but can not think of where I know it from.

Sweet. I wish there was a place around here that stocks Fuji bikes. My wife picked up a Cambridge III at a junk shop in so. Ontario years back and it was one of my favourite bikes ever.

BTW, if you find you are having problem with hand numbness or too much pressur eon your hands and arms, itr is probably because your saddle is tilted nose down. If you adjust it to be level or just slightly nose up the pressure on your hands will go way down. (unless that saddle has about 3/4" of spring travel in the back, then it might level out when you ride)

This was in Mesquite. It's not actually a bridge in the background, just a decorative fence on the edge of the road.

Thanks! I immediately exchanged my silver 7.1 when I saw the blue in the store a few days after purchase.

Thanks! When I sit down the seat levels out just right with the springs. So far I have not had any discomfort with this seat. The last one I was stopping ever few miles or adjusting while riding.

Nice bike, W4ZWA.

One other thing. AFAIK those ergo grips are meant to ´point´slightly above horizontal, towards the rider. At the moment, they´re at about 4 o´clock, as you look at ´em in the photo. Try loosening them off and moving them to about a 2 or half past 2 o´clock position.

Of course they maight be perfectly comfy as is, in which case, disregard everything I said.

I agree. My photo below shows the nice ergo grips on my Coda almost flat, maybe at 2:30 by your count after lots of experimenting.

Awesome looking bike! So whats the story with the wheels. Where did you get them from are they new or vintage, what do they weigh and how much did they cost?

Didn't think so... Only asked because of Igo's comment on post 4255:

We've got just a few more weeks before bike season starts here. I can't wait.

and I was kidding - just forgot to add the appropriate emoticon... :p:thumb:
