My Orbea is a little on the heavy side in relation to Road Bikes... 8.7kg

...and my Cannondale Hybrid is 10.9kg.
I'm happy with those weights though.

Is that Orbea not a road bike? Sure looks like one.

I thought it was much lighter, is it all Carbon ? The weight on the Bad Boy is great, I'm trying to pick up one of those used. Hard to find though.

No it's triangle is alloy just the forks ang stays are carbon. The alloy is actually produced by Orbea in the Basque region of Spain. Sadly recently all their production now has been shifted from Spain to China. None of their bikes are manucacture or even assembled in Spain any more.
Good luck on your search for a Badboy. If you can try to get a pre Dorel model

Thanks for the info, was looking at one I found on Craigslist (OBREA) not sure of the year model. It was super light, Full Carbon, Mavic wheel set, etc.. but let it go. Someone bought it right behind me though, and yes I'm looking for and older model Bad Boy. Thanks

All things? Or just non-carbon things? You have something against carbon fiber?

Not at all. My 29er FS MTB is full carbon and so is the TdF-legal road race bike. The lightweight Hybrid project was simply an exercise, proving a durable street-worthy bike can be built - using quality alloy components.

I've let the team down. m(-.-)m
I have Carbon Bars on my BadBoy. Should have got a lightweight Easton or similar. My dream bar would be a Ti Thomson.

Finally got the new grips installed, along with a new seat, bottle cage, and computer. Have to order a longer cable so I can mount it on my bars and run it to the rear tire. I want to be able to keep track when I ride inside on my trainer.

Its actually the Misceo Trail 1.0. Has the lockable front fork. Got a pretty good deal on the 2012 model...

I don't even know if this would be considered a Hybrid but this is my GT Outpost that I converted into a more commuter friendly bike. Still waiting on new grips and PDW headlight but it's getting there. Bike was given to me for free so I'm not too far into it after tune up and add on costs. TRIPLE TRIANGLE!!!
