No they didn't tell me that I can't. To be honest I haven't had the need to take photos of products in a bike shop before because I can go back any time to check on prices / quality etc. Also "if" the shop staff did tell me that photography is prohibited, I wouldn't be offended and go as far as telling them no sale, as I would respect their policy. Everything they, or any other bike shop sell, would be on the internet for me to view and research anyway.

Not yet ... might do it one of these days.
"de muur" is not far from my house so I do it about every other week or so if I find the time.

Thanks ... the sharpness isn't perfect but it was taken with a very basic cell phone so I can't complain.

40+ km/h on a hybrid!

Today I flipped my spacers and my stem to drastically lower my handlebar:

The stem is a 30° Ritchey and so now it points 30° down:

My bike, resting on the central square of Geraardsbergen after it's new record:

Distance: 10,1 km or 6.3 miles
Average speed: 40,4 km/h or 25.25 MPH

I'm going to keep this configuration for a while and see how my bad back copes with it ...
If it's bad I'll put it back as it was and keep it that way.
If it's good ... I'll also put it back as it was ... and start looking for a second hand TT-bike

Start looking for a sponsor. Your bike looks wicked with the stem flipped.

My GT Fitness series. I was not sure if it was going to be fun & reliable due to the low cost, but I ended up really liking this. Also used as a commuter.

(^o^)/ Hold on, hold on. Seriously you are flaming fit.

If the weather is ok tomorrow morning I'll head off before work and look for a decent 10km stretch.
I can't fit my aero bars as my hybrid's bars are oversize, and my aero bars aren't.
My prediction for me is 27 - 29 km/h over 10 kms and max speed 45km/h on my hybrid. I think that'll be the best my 46-year-old body can muster up. (of course I'm hoping for a miricle)

My 2010 K2 Astral 2.0

I got it exactly two weeks ago and I already put 175 miles on it. I was on spring break for the first week of me owning it, so I rode it 10-30 miles every day.
