You have my support. Bring them in one at a time. Maybe no one will notice...

1994 Nishiki Sport XRS. Drop bars, 35 mm tires. Chew on that.

Got rid of the zipties that were securing my cyclocomputer sensor cable and replaced them with clear tape. Can't really see it in this picture, but this is how my hybrid stands as of today. I also remounted the iPhone mount in the top-tube instead of the handlebars. I think I like it better this way.

Me too! I just found out that the local REI carries white jagwire cable housing for both shifter cables and brake cables, so I didn't have to order it. Ah well, I ordered it, so I will just wait for it to arrive and use it.

I got my white housings. Took it to the local Performance bike shop (didn't say LBS because it's a huge nationwide chain). The mechanic helped me cut it and install it. I paid him a little under the table for his help. Looks very nice and shifts really well!

Nicely finished. Maybe you've already fixed it, but is there a small tab on the back of your cantilever to hook your cable on(to tuck it away)?

My Quick CX now with 29x2.0 knobbies.

Uploaded with ImageShack.us

Interestingly, they seem to be better on tarmac than my previous 35mm cyclocross tires. Not sure if that's a compliment to the new tires or just an indicator how poor the previous were...

They're v-brakes. Is the arm called a cantilever? I don't think there is anything to hook the end of the cable on. These are cheap no-name brakes (with great pads that I installed), so I don't expect them to have any bells or whistles. At one point, I had ziptied the end of the cable to the brake arm, but I didn't like how it looked. I'm fine with the pigtail of a cable on the side.

I know what you're talking about. My friend's old bike with v-brakes had that little hook. He now has discs, which have been nothing but trouble for him because his pads keep rubbing. He finally figured out how to tighten the pads to keep them from rubbing and it's been just peachy lately. But a picture in a picture thread never hurts!

Ha ha ha, that Mazda is my sister-in-law's. She doesn't have a car park space so we let her park at our house. (we don't have a need for a car)
You are right about Vigore. They don't use so much carbon any more as that's not the trend here anymore. Surprising, but true. Have a sticky-beak https://www.vigore.co.jp/
